Adaptive headlights: Greater field of vision for added safety
Use is made of three different AFS (Advanced front lighting system) versions:
1) Static cornering light: An additional reflector illuminates the turning-off area at right angles.
2) Dynamic cornering light: The light beam adjusts automatically and exactly to the course of the road as a function of vehicle speed and steering wheel angle.
3) Adaptive cornering light: Sensors monitor parameters such as steering angle and vehicle speed. Flexible headlamps automatically adjust the light to the direction of travel, vehicle speed and weather conditions.
